I was tasked with creating high school planners. I wanted these to be something students would use daily. I decided on a bold color scheme and turned photos of actual students along with some stock photos into silhouettes. I used splatter brushes to add texture and give it a painterly grunge feel.
I came across a font called Roxers Rough and I thought it would be perfect for this project. So I decided to create a logotype and designed around that. I went with blues and oranges for the color scheme as I felt they would represent summer well and then I added some vector art to give it a little texture to the overall appearance.
I was asked to create a logo for a Bat Mitzvah for a beautiful young girl named Chloe. I met with Chloe and her Mom and they wanted the logo to have sunglasses and to match the decor which was going to be pink, black and silver.
I came up with several options for them to chose from. They ended up loving them all and using them throughout the event on signs, t-shirts, boxer shorts, cups, water bottles, napkins, gift box and more. They even had the main logo painted on her shoes!
This was a group of shirt designs done for Girl Scout Troop 1612. They wanted the designs to have a camping feel.
The Lancaster Performing Arts Center season brochure was another fun project. We went with bright colors and mixed in some textural backgrounds. Because this was their 20th year they wanted to add a little extra pizzazz to the look so we added spot varnish to both the front and back covers. It really made it pop.
The Lancaster Performing Arts Center wanted to a pocket brochure tthat they could mail out to their audience in addition to their yearly brochure. The pocket brochure unfolded to a poster showcasing their full season lineup with photos of all the artists on the front and then a poster showcasing a single show they wanted to market.
This was just a fun conceptual project I did on the rare occasion that I had down time. I am a dog lover so I thought it would be fun to come up with a logo and branding design for a fictitious dog boutique I named Posh Pooches. This is the end result.
along with doing freelance work I also work for a large group of charter schools. So flyers are always needing to be designed. These are just a sampling of the 100’s I have done.
